Running GrapheneOS, CalyxOS or another de-Googled build?

Compatible hardware is only half the answer. On de-Googled Android the phone can have a perfectly good eUICC while the OS build still cannot download a profile, because that depends on the local profile assistant it ships. GrapheneOS handles it with a toggle, CalyxOS works on its supported devices, and most official LineageOS builds cannot do it at all.
