iPhone
iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and later support 1 physical SIM + 1 eSIM. The iPhone 13/14/15/16 models support 2 eSIMs at once. iPhone 14 and later sold in the US are eSIM ONLY (no physical SIM tray).
Android

Step by step setup (iPhone)
- Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan.
- Scan the QR you received from BuyUKeSIM.
- Label it "Work" or "UK".
- Default line: Personal (+90); iMessage/FaceTime: both active.
- Data preference: as needed. In Turkey the Turkish line is usually the better choice for data.
Step by step setup (Android - Samsung example)
- Settings > Connections > SIM manager.
- "Add eSIM" > "Scan QR code".
- Scan the BuyUKeSIM QR.
- Name: "UK +44".
- Calls/SMS: which line is default? The "ask every time" option is recommended for calls.
Two WhatsApp accounts
After the UK eSIM is installed you can open a second WhatsApp account with the WhatsApp Business app. Personal WhatsApp (Turkey) and WhatsApp Business (UK) both run on a single phone.
Note on data and roaming
