The basics
What is a UK eSIM?
An eSIM is a software SIM card. There is no plastic — your phone stores the SIM profile electronically and connects to a UK mobile carrier when you install the QR code. A "UK eSIM" specifically gives you a UK +44 phone number on a real UK mobile network.
What does BuyUKeSim sell exactly?
A UK +44 mobile number on a real UK carrier, delivered as an eSIM QR code on screen after payment. It is intended for receiving SMS verification codes (WhatsApp, Telegram, PayPal, Binance, Tinder, banking apps) and incoming calls. It does not include UK mobile data or outgoing calls. Why $25?
You are paying for a real UK mobile line provisioned to you, with lifetime ownership while you keep it topped up. Compare to a UK pay-as-you-go SIM, which costs ~£10 + shipping but requires a UK address; or to renting individual SMS at $0.10 each on 5SIM, which fails on every account that matters in 2026 (why).
Is this a real number or VOIP?
Real UK mobile, on a UK carrier MNO/MVNO range. HLR lookup returns UK Mobile, not VOIP. This is what makes WhatsApp, Tinder, Binance, PayPal and banks accept it.
Buying
How do I pay?
USDT (TRC20) or TRX (TRC20). Nothing else. Send the exact amount displayed at checkout to the address shown, paste the TX ID, and the system credits your order. Detailed walkthrough: USDT/TRX TRC20 guide.
Why only USDT/TRX TRC20?
Two reasons: (1) lowest network fees of any major chain, so the $25 line stays $25; (2) we have not seen TRC20 chargebacks or disputes — the rails are deterministic.
What happens if I send ERC20 USDT?
The funds are lost on the wrong network. We can not reverse on-chain transfers. Always pick the TRC20 network in your wallet before sending.
How long until I get the eSIM?
Once the TRC20 transaction confirms (typically 1–3 minutes), the QR appears on the order status page. We do not email it — it is screen-only for security.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Checkout is guest-only by design. You get an order ID; bookmark it.
Do you take credit card or PayPal?
No. Crypto only. This is a deliberate choice — cards and PayPal would force us to KYC every customer and would link your eSIM purchase to your real bank statement, defeating the whole point.

How do I install the eSIM?

Which phones support eSIM?
iPhone XS / XR (2018) and newer; most Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer; Google Pixel 3 and newer; recent Xiaomi, OnePlus, OPPO, Motorola, Nothing. Detailed list: eSIM-compatible phones.
Will it work on iPhone bought in China / Hong Kong?
Most Chinese-market iPhones (CN models) do not support eSIM and will not accept the QR. Hong Kong iPhones do. Check Settings → General → About → look for "Available SIM"; if you only see physical SIM, the device is hardware-locked out of eSIM.
Can I install the eSIM on a tablet or laptop?
Cellular iPads with eSIM support work. Most laptops do not. The QR is single-use, so install on the device you want to keep the line on.
Can I move the eSIM to a new phone?
Yes — request a transfer through support. We re-issue a new QR for your new device. The old QR stops working at the same time.
Using the line
Can I receive SMS?
Yes — unlimited inbound SMS. That is the primary use case.
Can I receive calls?
Yes — voice OTP fallback works for Binance / Coinbase / PayPal etc.
Can I send SMS or make outgoing calls?
No. The line is inbound-only.
Can I use mobile data on this eSIM?

Does the line expire?

Does my UK bank's app work?
Generally yes for SMS 2FA. Exception: some UK banks (HSBC, Barclays, NatWest) cross-check the number against their internal registry of customer numbers. If the number was never linked to a UK address on a credit reference file, you may still pass SMS but get follow-up KYC. The eSIM is one signal, not the whole story.
Privacy and KYC
Do you ask for ID or KYC?
No. We do not collect any personal data beyond what blockchain leaks (the source wallet and TX). No name, no passport, no address. Anonymous purchase explained.
Is this legal?
Yes. Buying and using a UK eSIM is legal everywhere we operate. What you do with the number is your responsibility — see our Terms.
Will WhatsApp ban me for using a UK eSIM?
No. WhatsApp bans VOIP and rental numbers; a real UK MNO line passes their checks.
Can the carrier or government trace the number to me?

Will banks freeze my account if I use this number?
Banks freeze accounts for many reasons; a clean UK +44 mobile number is not one of them. The triggers are usually deposits without source-of-funds proof, fast-money mule patterns, or counter-party flags.

Troubleshooting
The QR scan is not working.
Common causes: wrong device (not eSIM-capable), iOS Camera blocking the prompt (open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code instead), or a saved screenshot losing too much resolution. The QR is on the order status page — use it from a second screen, not from a saved photo.
I installed the eSIM but no signal.
Check Settings → Cellular → tap the BuyUKeSim line → Turn this Line On. Reboot. Full troubleshooting checklist.
I have signal but the SMS code is not arriving.
Top 5 causes: SMS default line set wrong, sender used wrong country code, line lapsed (top-up first), iOS spam filter, app remembers an old number. Run the 10-step checklist.
App says "this number is in use".
Each phone number can register one account per app. If you re-install or re-register on the same service, you have to delete the old account first. We re-issue numbers across orders only — within an order, the number is yours.
I want to change my number.
Buy a new eSIM. We do not swap numbers within an order — the entire value of the line is the number itself.
Refunds and policy
Do you give refunds?
No, by policy. Once the QR is delivered the digital good has been transferred and we cannot recall it. Refund policy.
What if the eSIM does not activate at all?
Open a support ticket — if the line failed at provisioning, we re-issue a fresh QR. Activation issues caused by your device (not eSIM-capable, carrier-locked) are not our responsibility.
What if my account on Service X is banned later?
Bans by the third-party service are between you and them. The eSIM line itself remains active.
